(re)collection - limited selection on past models, tbd

could someone explain this to me? I'm in quite a stupor right now.

Excited about this (re)collection talk.

Hopefully we'll see the return of the perfecto/dr2.3.

So cryptic...

So will the (re)collection be available after the hiatus?

I think it's completely stopping.

Edit: Did Drew say to measure at the hips or just above it when doing so for the trousers?

any of you dudes get artishard tracking no's? some must be at 8 weeks by now.

Got my CM a couple of days ago (shipping was astonishingly quick). Too bad it's 90 degrees now, but I'm hoping for a cold snap so I can comfortably wear it a couple of evenings at least :).

Just wanted to note that I had never realized (1) that TOJ zippers were attached to the left-hand side of the placket from the wearer's perspective and (2) that apparently every other jacket I've owned has had the zipper on the right-hand side of the placket. I keep looking like a 'tard trying to hold the left side of the jacket and unzip the right, hah.

I'm curious what the reason behind that is.

you're talking about 'execution' - open zips (rather than closed zips like pockets or luggage zips) are either left or right execution. It varies by the zippers we use, since we don't spec them down to that detail, it's too much to keep track of. If I was making a huge factory run, I'd probably specify it, but it's such a mundane point and only two people have mentioned it so far....

If anyone else got one and didn't post pics, I curse them.

Interesting. It doesn't bother me or anything, I'd just never thought about it before until I couldn't figure out why the zipper was sticking.

I gotta re-up Dan on money for shipping and labor for a gang of jackets already done and waiting to be paid for, so once the wire is completed I imagine a set of tracking numbers should start flowing out.
