Hey drew we going to seeing anything new in the lower (300ish) price range? I don't mind shelling out a ton for a winter jacket but I like some Spring swagger to come on the cheap.
I'd like to, but you know full leather doesn't come cheap; varsity jackets kind of held that place but there's this bloods vs crips war within the threads for TOJ1, 1.5 and WV supporters that makes releasing a normal varsity jacket difficult; what would you want to buy with 300 bones, given that it'd be reasonable?

^^I think a raincoat would be pretty nice. Norse Projects put out a really awesome raglan one this season. I'm not saying it should look anything like that, but you branching out from leathers into chesterfields, fishtails, etc, I think a raincoat or waterproof mac would be interesting to see from you. Though I'm not sure how costly/hard to find the fabrics are, but I think it will be on the lower end of the price spectrum.

I was looking away from leather things, I wouldn't find seeing a ToJ take on a collegiate jacket, mac, hunting jacket, etc. in some cotton or tech fabrics. But again I have no idea what you would actually want to make and availability of materials. Already got a leather and wv from you guys, I would like a toj piece for each season.

no offense to anyone on here if they're invested, but that norse projects thing is junk, it's worth more than a hundred bucks but doesn't look like it. The problem with selling outers is that I want to sell really fancied out pieces for what is basically their cost, and so suggestions have to go that way; show me what you like that costs $2000 and I can swag on that.

2011 DR looks amazing. Yet another jacket added to my "want" list...
Received my duffle today and it's a home run. Fits pretty much just like I wanted to and the details are great. The horn buttons and toggles are really, really nice.
For anyone interested, here are some remarks on the duffle compared to the chesterfield.
Compared to my chesterfield (same size) the duffle fits a bit roomier (as expected and wanted) in the shoulders and body, the arms feel about the same. The shoulder shape is a bit different: It's about the same width, but has more volume. The shoulders seem more sloped than on my chesterfield too, good for people with slightly sloped shoulders like me. The torso shaping is also less agressive on the duffle, waist less tapered and shaped.
I got the duffle in navy, chesterfield in camel. Navy is a nice dark shade, almost indistinguishable from black indoors, but clearly navy under natural light. The camel is pretty dark, more like a light brown or caramel color. The navy is very smooth, noticeably smoother than the camel. I definitely prefer the feel of the navy, although both are nice.
I was surprised by the weight of this monster, in a good way. It feels really sturdy.

not leather, maybe leather detailing if you're generous?
but a lightweight edgier cut spring/summer jacket?

On the cheaper side, would you consider doing leather gloves? Obviously not outerwear but there's really only chester jeffries that does mtm gloves, and there's mixed reviews on them. If you want them fancied out, you can put some wolverine claws on them or something.
