The new official TOJ thread, 2011 - Page 1052

So I was out in D.C. last night at some sports bar and i see this dude walk by wearing some great leather. I only saw his back so I didn't catch any details, just the leather quality from sight, but I was like "when that guy comes back by I'ma holler at him." A few minutes later he walks back by and I stop him and am about to ask what he's wearing when I realize

"Wha--is that a temple of jawnz jacket?!"
"Dude how do you know that"
*jumping to my feet*
"BECAUSE I'M WEARING THE SAME JACKET! OH SHIT"

Two TOJ bombers in the same place. I guess I bugged out a little bit. My first "toj in the wild" experience was just more exciting than I expected. It turned out to be SFer Laughter95; sorry dude if I was, uh, a little excessive in my enthusiasm. We then proceeded to geek out about style shit. It was good.

awesome story, just showed Dan this. haha. We, living out here in Asia, never see TOJs in the wild. redface.gif It'd be just as much a surprise for us too, because we don't see many of your faces. Would be wild for me to go to America and run into somebody wearing TOJ, but you guys would probably spot me first. redface.gif Not Dan though, I'm hoping he just spots a TOJ in the wild and says to you guys 'I MADE THIS!!!" haha.

Haha, you know, this past weekend which marked the end of yet another 65-hour work week has been really great. Meeting legit future wives on both Fri and Sat, enjoying several Lagavulins/Patrons/Woodford Reserves with great company, and then running into another bro that appreciates this niche, next-level steezy type shit has been pretty awesome.

Cheers, man.

Very different - goatskin is tough and pebble grained, as heavy as calf. Lambskin is soft and light

It's got the kind of texture that aeglus' whiskey goatskin bomber has, but a nice pliable, soft hand. It's like a ever so slightly tougher, pebble textured lambskin kind of. It'd also make an interesting rider's style jacket, like a 2010 DR or something.
Also, a chocolate brown horsehide, and the aforementioned re-up on dark whiskey.
I think there's a decent supply on the goatskin, but the others are limited to the stock as usual.
Graphite grey, bottle green, dark blue, and red Italian calfskin are also still available as of last week. All of these leathers mentioned in this post are great and about as good as it gets.

May we get pictures of the aforementioned leathers?

Picked this up off of the BS forum. I was curious what you all thought of the fit. Also, does anyone else have a peacoat where the buttons seem a bit asymmetrical? Not sure if anyone notices this but I'm sure its not a difficult fix.
