Just got my bomber, 6 weeks from order time. Thank god it fits! I just made a couple revisions to the original recommended measurements after giving my jacket and body measurements. I took the P2P measurement suggested, subtracted 1.5 inch for the midsection, and then another 1.5 inch for the waist. I reduced the suggested lengths by .5". I really enjoy this jacket. Very ready to purchase another since I've gotten a successful first-try on the sizing.
anyway basically a rehash of a month ago, here's what I'll enter to the contest (and never posted this jacket on sufu so I guess I'll do that too) details(Click to show)
Argh, seeing Aeglus' jacket makes me pine for my own. Drew do you know if my jacket has arrived back for those corrections yet? (I shot through an email a few days back but didn't get a reply)
I don't know man, gotta check with Charly. I live in Japan now, and I am not doing the day to day stuff. Taking a break of sorts, Dan and Charly are on fulltime production of current models.
My seabag broke leather was fine, but one of the metal buckles snapped in half. Goes to show how strong that horsehide is.
I love that bag. Regretted pushing back ordering it every day since it was cancelled.
I would totally be down for a daypack, but no suede breaks my heart... unless the waxed canvas is tan, and we can get horsehide accents (à la the seabag in color).... mmmm... I absolutely adore my filson 222 (in tan), so I'd love a (luxe) daypack the matches

Off topic question, dude...do you plan on staying in Japan forever now? Seems like you are well traveled. How does the legal process work? You just go there and apply for permanent residency?
That background on the aegleus picture makes it look even better. The bricks play very well with the look.
