I think there's a bunch made or nearing completion. Usually with these things, TOJ1's, coats - there's some sort of finishing process that is best done at once; for coats it's the buttonholes; we'll get a bunch of coats done for the week but they all go out at once to get buttonholes on a butthonhole darning machine at a separate location. For the TOJ1's, it's taking the two sides and putting them together. They're not particularly labor intensive or difficult steps, though sometimes it requires constant thread changes and stuff, they run faster if you have a bunch of nearly-done jackets and then touch them up at the end. It's like making a bunch of white cakes, frosting them all with the same icing, and then doing the individual decoration last.
3 people have to work on those TOJ1's - two people make the two separate shells - one guy is normally a suit tailor but makes the cotton side of the TOJ1, and then the wool and leather side needs a heavier-duty sewing machine. 3rd person does the patterns and cuts the pieces.
Any idea when the next batch of leathers will be sent out Drew? I'm on 6, nearly 7 weeks on my MDR. Any hint at when I should expect it to arrive would be appreciated

All good Drew, just want to get one in to check sizing before I reload
Have a 2010 fishtail, really missing an inner pocket. Because I've been keeping the phone in the outside pockets I've lost it to pickpockets twice in the last two months
I actually have a TOJ chesterfield in cracked pepper I've been considering selling ("old measurements" stock 50, arms are just too long or I wouldn't even be considering it. bought it before I'd honed in on the perfect toj measurements)... holler if anyone's interested
(I usually wouldn't post about selling a TOJ in this thread, feels kinda bad, but seeing as it's no longer in production I hope it's okay)
