Fits much better now with even a few days of wear

What the hell, was looking through facebook and found party pics with some dude in a quilted band collar dr, and another guy next to him with a navy toj0. surreal

This. I'm considering making a peacot my first ToJ purchase and can't decide wether to go for navy, black or brown. I think Drew said brown was his favourite, and I'm leaning in that direction because I'll be wearing it almost exclusively with (dark) jeans. Any reason I should reconsider navy or black?

True, but it still fits the period and the whiskey calf has a colour and depth that we're not going to get with the black & brown jackets we have available. So assuming it fits our actor (which it should do because my Moto does) we'll probably go with it.

So what colour gloves?

I have Fall 2010's brown calf bomber, and the jacket could use a good condition. What have people used to condition their TOJ calf? My instinct is to default to Pecard's leather dressing, or leather lotion.

 

(Searched for this, btw, and did not come up with anything.)

Wow where are you guys seeing all these TOJs in Ontario? I live in toronto and go to UWO and have never seen anything. I also have always pronouced it tawj (in my head, since i don't think i've ever said the word out loud lol)

IIRC, the recent jackets don't get shipped with totes, right?

I had some guy a few months back shout "Temple of Jawnzzzz!" when he saw me wearing my eggplant raglan varsity outside of Guu @ Bloor. Pretty random.

Having the same issue deciding what color fishtail to get.  I want either the black or cracked pepper and cant for the life of me decide.  I'm leaning towards cracked pepper because I've probably already got too much black outerwear, but damn, I just don't know.

I know of one other guy in Sydney that also has TOJ jackets, because I introduced him. But I've been asked where I got mine more than once and I swear I've seen some asian guys do a double take.

I'm also part of the TOJ in TO crew. Don't think I've seen any in the wild though, I'm always in the westside so I expect to see them

I'm in Toronto and go to UWO in London as well. I've seen a grey peacoat and several varsities in Toronto. Didn't see my first TOJ leather in the wild till I came back to school this September. Saw some guy in my building with a black 2010 bomber, wish I was wearing my brown one at the time.

On another note, putting in an order for a cracked pepper or navy fishtail as soon as I can get a tape measure.

I am shocked that most of these toj in the wild stories end up without even a hello... If I saw someone wearing a TOJ I would probably buy them a beer.

Seems like Toronto's a TOJ hotspot. I live downtown and have yet to see one out in the wild too.

I've seen a few at York University in Toronto as well; from what I recall:

Brown A-2 Bomber (with shearling)
Olive Fishtail

And I've seen a few in downtown on Queen street:

Black 2010 DR
Black Peacoat
Blacked out TOJ0 Varsity

Any of you guys in Toronto own these?
