TOJ1's will be running the same fate because the reversible zipperhead is low in supply for us.

Would it be reasonable to assume there will be another varsity to take its place if the TOJ1 gets discontinued?

Will the hood be the same size as on the 2010 duffle? I have one and really like it, but the hood is so small I can't actually use it. I can just barely force it over the top of my head, but way too tight to wear comfortably. I guess my neck/face are taller than then norm, but still.

That's a good thing, you dudes can meet other dudes who are into the same things and shit - it's like making friends, man. redface.gif
no homo, unless you want it to be that way - and TOJ will support both of you guys with finely tailored leather jackets. Call me if you need MTM suits for the wedding, menswear is no sweat. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I don't really do them, unless you email me, and expect to be entertained.

Actually, I don't know, lately I have matured a bit and I give some pretty thoughtful answers, and I might bring a tear to your eye. But one still needs to email me.

Well its just a possibility at this point, my friend wants to pitch it to his Editor. Just wondering if you would be up for it in the first place.

Probably depends on how big it is, I'd rather be a small but interesting piece.
I am rather modest, and I also prefer TOJ not to go to the dark side - there are several reasons for that, but a big reason is that we're already making as much as I feel we should for most pieces - I don't want to make mass produced clothing right now (maybe someday, but that's not the mission of TOJ), nor do I want to relinquish complete control of the stuff to a factory or something - I like having control over how each piece looks when it gets mailed to some extent, and that includes the human aspect where we lengthen and shorten parts of the clothes to make a better fit, offer a colorway that only one person takes us up on and yet still make it, make some small change that the customer feels they need, etc. That is why I can sit here and post about the stuff with pride, because I know it's not bullshit in a box. I'd be selling tacos from a truck if TOJ didn't work this way, check superfuture if you think I am not serious. I was gonna do Kogi years before Kogi. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

poly, I want to buy up a not popular ramen-ya somewhere in Tokyo and transform it into the only place selling real LA style pho. The kitchen and dining room fitout of a basic ramen shop would be perfect, the food material costs are cheap and awesome tasting here; be part of this with me. Tokyo has terrible pho, but they look noodle soup. Wide open spaces.
