Not sure, used to be. No one ordered one in diamond yet, Drew may have changed his mind.

Hey Drew,

This doesn't correlate to ToJ directly, but since you're the leather expert I thought I'd ask you. What's your take on using leather conditioners designed for car interior for leather bags?

That whisky calf looks amazing; ToJ still killin it with the quality leathers.

BTW, does anyone have any pics of whisky in lamb? I searched the ToJ gallery but couldn't find any. Just wondering how it compares to the calf.

I think it's Zymol. My friend, who is a car detailing nut, gave me a bottle to use. He actually gave me a cleaner and a conditioner. I have some jean stains on my interior and was planning on using it. But being the lazy dude that I am, I think I would just buy a new car instead of cleaning the interior. shog[1].gif

Dude, they're pictures...you can't feel the texture. Picture-wise, they're going to look the same. If you're really picky about the hue of the whiskey color, you should go with calf as there are multiple shades. When I ordered mine, there was just whiskey lamb. There are some on the ToJ gallery for sure because I know my pictures are on the site, it's a whiskey bomber.

And dude, Drew...I partially blame you for my impulse purchase on a Saddleback briefcase since now I know what quality leather feels like. foo.gif

Before I joined the forum, I bought a cheapie laptop carrier from Gilt. But now, every time I use it, I feel disgusted with myself due to the poor quality leather. I pulled the trigger on the bag last night, and will probably use the Zymol to condition it every now and then...this is primary why I asked for your opinion on using the stuff on leather bags.

Depending on the colour, white toothpaste will remove denim stains on leather. smile.gif

use a Mr Clean magic eraser and some Dr. Bronner's soap on your car seats. On the Saddleback, use neatsfoot oil. Saddlebacks are a different kind of leather than the stuff you have.

This is a TOJ thread, not a shoe cleaning thread. Ask elsewhere.

I'm going to NYC this week, and thought I'd bring my mis-sized ToJ with me. If anyone happens to be there that is interested in a bomber, we can meet up. Will also be able to ship conus cheaper during the week that I'm there (usually located overseas), pm me.
