Me and Charly have pretty much gone over all the ins and outs of the new TOJ stuff, we're really solid there, so fire off your orders to him and he will get you in without fail now. He has a lot more time and energy to put into the communications that I could never do this year up til now, I just had a hectic existence in 2011 - I went on a long vacation, moved countries, went on a couple smaller trips, I've been on like 25 flights this year and it just is not stopping. redface.gif A lot of blood, sweat, and tears for the jawnz.
If you've made an order with us that you haven't received still - don't worry, it's in, and we keep the orders in order by date. We can't do every thing in that exact order but we try to stick to that as closely as possible in terms of production order. TOJ1's, like I said, were popular, probably about 3X more so than I expected, and they just never let up - so there were tons of orders for those. On the bright side, a ton are also shipping today, I think there are like 3 or 4 racks looking like this, awaiting packaging and shipment:

We are once again, at last the same 3 person team as before, and it's a tight little machine we run now. Looking good as gear up for winter, and coat production. Peacoats are available now and the duffle and the rest will come soon. We put them in while I was here in Seoul.

holy jesus, pants creaming picture right there, keep up the good work Drew and team. We all appreciate it icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

I just ordered my first TOJ... in fact, my first leather jacket. I always told myself that I wouldn't buy a leather until I could afford something really nice. I've gone for the minimalist double rider in light grey lambskin. Now I just have to hope that the small tweaks I did with Charly's recommended measurements will sit right. Charly was really helpful by the way.

i recall you mentioning something about the peacoats possibly having a quilted lining this year, like the winter varsities from 2010 had. is that still an option and does it impact on sizing considerations?

We are offering the standard cupro lining or quilted lining. Both $495.

The extra volume of the quilted lining does make the jacket fit more snug - we suggest going up a size to account for this.

Hm, just ordered a peacoat in my regular size with quilted lining. Although the peacoat is 0.9 bigger in the chest then my leathers so maybe I should be fine anyway?

I've been debating ordering this jacket in a 48 or 50. I'm about 155, 5' 10" but with broader shoulders. I usually wear small in most sizes but I've noticed when I tried on some Varsity jackets at H&M that even though the jacket looks ok when I'm just standing there, when I try to reach for something or cross my arms, it is almost impossible. I guess that that is an inherent nature of having leather sleeves not being able to stretch that much. I like the look of your fit but freedom of movement is more important to me, I can deal with a looser and baggier fit if it means the jacket being comfortable. Can you let me know if you have freedom of movement in that jacket? Thanks!
