They cram a surprisingly good selection into a relatively tiny space (particularly compared to Americaya in Ueno).
I still wish it was staffed by fat, hairy, gay men.
Just an update on the Uncontrol DR since I didn't get the chance to do a full review on it: love it, everyone else loves it too. Popped collar constantly, sort of sad the snakeskin isn't on the back of the collar because of this. Sizing seems perfect but maybe too big through the bicep and elbow, but I'm gonna let the leather settle before making any decisions about that. Got skinny arms tho.
There's actually a pretty fine line in terms of how slim you want the sleeves to be. I think this has something to do with how they're shaped. I could be misinterpreting this, but it seems like the inner seam is straight and the outer seam is curved, which means there's going to be more room along the outer seam in the upper arm compared to having two curved seams or two straight seams (I don't even know if you could do two straight seams and still be able to bend your arm).
I had the sleeves on mine taken in slightly, and while I was initially disappointed that the tailor didn't take them in any more, I'm starting to realize that going much slimmer would restrict my range of motion and probably put an undue amount of stress on the outer seam and surrounding leather.
Unrelated to this, now that I'm wearing my jacket more, I've noticed how flawlessly the lower front pockets are integrated into the jacket. Most jackets that fit this slim would have an unsightly bulge in the pockets if I had my phone, keys, &c. in them, but somehow this jacket doesn't do that. I'm not sure how it works, but the jacket keeps it shape and contours on both sides, and it's an asymmetrical jacket. Kind of a cool, unanticipated bonus.
^ one thing that isn't mentioned enough are the cuffs. They are seriously cool and well designed. Any future leather jacket i own w/o them are going to feel incomplete to me...

Speaking of which, I'm not 100% sure I understand how the cuffs on the VTG jackets work. The description says that they're convertible open cuffs with no zipper. Does that mean that they're basically the regular cuff with the zipper taken away, so there's a single snap closure that still leaves the cuff partway open (as opposed to fully closed, like when the regular cuffs are zipped up all the way)?
There are some really TOJ-heavy campuses in the US, probably Canada too. I get people telling me about sightings in Australia, America, Finland, etc. UC Davis had a huge TOJ population, but now it sounds like UMich is pretty heavy with the TOJ too.... who will win?
I know that there are a few others here at Northwestern. I've seen a small asian guy walking around with one of the newer brown bombers (I have an original brown bomber).

Have yet to see another ToJ on campus myself... then again maybe it has to do with being in the "worst dressed city" (according to GQ no less)
