I love 4runners! These things are practically bullet proof. Mines a 2002 with 217k miles and still runs like new. good luck with sale!

As someone on the other side of the country who was shopping reliable SUVs in the 7K range, I ended up with an 04 Explorer XLT (as of 04, fairly reliable and dirt cheap to fi/maintain) However, I was hoping to land a 4Runner like this with a bit fewer miles, but just couldn't turn one up for 7K.

My point to people who are considering it is this: 4Runners retain their value because they hold up like almost nothing else. I actually saw some at 300K+, and we're talking with real trail duty (in GA or higher, FL is flat and/or mud), that were still gung-ho without a problem. If I would have found this deal local, I would have given it a serious eval.

I guess so. A few years ago I sold my 10 year old Land Rover Discovery with 100k miles and $10k in off-road parts and accessories. I could only get $3k. I really don't get how Toyota does it, but their cars run for forever.

*bump* I'm negotiable on the price. I also would like to add that the interior is clean. There isn't a single rip, tear, or major stain on the seats. I do not smoke, nor did I ever allow smoking in my car.
