Hey, I recently got a tweed suit off ebay and the length is a little longer than usual. Wondering if it looks too long and if i should return it.

Doesn't look too long at all. Unless you're one of those Thom Browne weirdos...

Yep. Definitely not too long. I think it looks nice. Is it straight from the bay or did you get it tailored already?

the jacket looks too large (shoulders, sides). Length appears to be fine, but a full length shot (head to toe) would be a better way to tell.

Length for the most part is personal preference. I personally like mine slightly shorter than where yours is, but only .75" shorter.

I too like mine about .5 shorter. However, this depends on your body type.

Post full-body pictures please.

Hard to tell with these photos.

Can you take a shot with your whole body extending down to your shoes? It helps to better see the ratio of torso:legs.

That length looks like how a "regular" usually fits me. I like mine to run about 0.5" shorter than what you are showing here, but it's kind of hard to tell. The third picture makes the coat look particularly long on you, but the jacket is kind of angled.

Does not appear long. Better pictures are needed.

I like the suit-- looks like a nice 'bay find! Wonder if there is a way to have a good tailor narrow the lapels a bit, and get you a better fit in the body/ waist. I think that suit would look great that way.

I believe the rule of thumb is to your knuckles with your arms hanging down. Looks just about there in the first pic, the others it's a bit longer but that could be your stance. I'd say it looks fine and is worth keeping.

Thanks for the feedback! Feeling a little more confident about it now.

I finally took some full length pictures.
