As simple as that. Where are the moderators on style forum? Why aren't the people who want the best for this forum stepping up to improve how this place runs?
In my opinion the mods on this forum do a better job than most other places. Think of it like a party at someone's home. Some hosts may wish to heavily control the environment, while other hosts will be more willing to let the guests shape it. Not everyone wants it to feel like a police state where a somewhat improper thread is instantly deleted or one wrong comment (said to the wrong person) can get you banned for life. Instead the police are only here to stop the most grievous of trouble makers. If you don't like this, then there are plenty of other heavily controlled forums where the mods love to play cop, forcing all participants to behave in roughly the same manner, causing the forum to feel oddly sterile and one dimensional. Oh and Sperry sucks-- why do people even want to discuss this brand here? As far as boat shoes go, Quoddy and Red Wing tend to be a lot nicer quality.
