This dude sure thinks so. Mantonnnnnn!

Summary:

America stockpiled Iraqi Phosgene gas (read: worst poisonous gas evar! exploding lungs ftw!) and were planning to use it in Afghanistan war. This dude knew about it. Two accidents at the facility where the gas was being shipped from caused recent bird and fish deaths. Dude goes to washington to tell all. Dude loves fishes so much he ends up sleeping with them.

Birds are really, really stupid. They often smother or trample each other to death, especially at night. I have no idea if that's what actually happened here, but when I kept them it seemed to happen to me all the time.

LOL is that the best we can do to explain this? Yesterday the news was saying it was probably due to NYE fireworks...now I'm reading it's because "birds are just stupid" hahaha.

How about the million fish that washed ashore?

Fish are stupid, too.

And it looks like I was right on the money. http://blogs.wsj.com/dispatch/2011/0...rds-continues/

Blackbirds can be a soft target. At night, they often sleep in clusters of many thousands of birds. Like people, they are also practically blind in the dark. (This year, New Year's Eve also happened to fall on a moonless night.)

Worse yet, blackbirds whizz around at 30-40 miles an hour. It's not a good speed at which to hit an immovable object.

Dr. Fitzpatrick duly notes that the postmortem examination of some deceased birds, conducted by Arkansas authorities, "showed blunt internal trauma as if they hit stuff."
