It really is the best...

Its easy to use and malleable (not sticky), holds hair for up to 24 hours (comes in handy while in Vegas), and gives your hair a natural look.

I used Fiber for a while, followed by Alterna Styling Mud (IIRC), B&B sumo wax, B&B sumotech and finally Aveda pure performance clay.

The Aveda wins.

Have you tried using Pomade?

Was in the pharmacy waiting on a script I walked over to see if I can find a replacement for my Bumble & Bumble Sumowax...end up going with Axe pomade-like product (black plastic can/blue graphics) for $5.99 Surprisingly not too bad. Bit of a cheap cologne smell to it which seems to fade after 10 minutes. certainly not as good as Sumowax, but not a bad inexpensive product if you have an emergency situation.

wow that stuff costs 25€ which equals 33$ - way to expensive for my taste (cheapest price in germany).

but im still happy with kevin murphys night rider, even though it doesnt have the crazy hold, it makes the hair incredibly nice to touch - super soft

I have pretty some pretty curly hair and have been using Murray's. It really does the trick. Although im a little different when it comes to putting it in. I apply it right before I get out of the shower because it really fucks up my hair when I try to put it in when my hair is dry. Also I only put it in every other day because it stays in for a while.
