sweet thanks! i pm'ed otc, but i am curious if anyone else knows if ordering the regular tasting menu as well as the dessert tasting would be too much food?

I haven't done it recently, but I have done it. The answer is, if I'm going for dessert at 11pm, I eat a light dinner at 5pm. It's a meal in itself , and it's hard to enjoy after the tasting menu, IMO. That's why I started doing dessert only.

I was at Bonsoiree recently. Didn't impress me much. BYOB is a huge plus, but I brought a fantastic bordeaux and the food really wasn't up to match. I walked out with a $160 bill for food that I didn't think matched my $150 bottle of wine. Won't be going back. I got a tour of the kitchen at tru.... Through the window at M Burger.

+1 on all of this. I will say with Bonsoiree....I loved the ambience and atmosphere a great deal. The service was also really good. I agree though that the food, while good, didn't wow me.

I've also gotten a tour of the kitchen at Tru through the window at M Burger recently. It's kind of fun to watch while you are eating your $4 burger.
