I went shopping with my brother to 2 stores that were closing. Almost purchased some cufflinks since they were so cheap but I resisted. I managed to only give advice to my brother (at his request) and purchased nothing for myself.

I lapsed today. Bought a Tom Ford blazer off of eBay. Will get back on the wagon!

I think these are pretty minor:

bought some athletic socks- I was down to zero pairs (my wife's aunt, who does our laundry, keeps losing them) and I need them for running in.

Got a $20 gift certificate from Brooks Brothers that expired on 2-28. Terms did not allow purchases less than $20, so I bought three pairs of boxer shorts on sale. Total out of pocket expenditure with shipping and tax $15.

Punish me as you see fit.

Sorry to read about the job UC, I am in the same boat myself. Hope we both bounce back quickly. Each item sold earns you one of these (not to mention a few well-earned dollars). Each item purchased earns you one of these ...3 or more and they turn into these If someone buys something from a member here, chances are, it is a great opportunity, and worth taking one of these They are still a part of the NP club membership. I won't out-rightly kick anyone out of the club. It's more like AA. One may fall but is encouraged to get back up and keep trying. By the way.....anyone else interested to join us for February, please say so asap! We are almost out of January.
