Recently made a Hitler-Jugend cut video: - Page 3

I have the "short back and sides" -cut, also known as Hitler-Jugend, but I don't really prefer that name.

I just have it without layering or any stuff like that. The layering is way too "teenager" for my taste, no offense. I usually slick it to the side by using pomade, I've tried slicking it back, but it doesn't look so good on me. It's a nice cut, though.

Then why the **** did you have to call it a HJ style cut? It doesn't even look like it.

I mean, if you hadn't given it that name, people wouldn't have noticed, and wouldn't have given you shit for it.

The video made me sick. The way this kid acts, speaks, dresses, and styles his hair make me want to vomit.

Like I said before, I could care less if the kid looks like a fool, the only reason I even looked at this thread in the first place is because I saw the word hitler. This immediately angered me and caused me to be curious about what the thread was actually about. That is it. I think the OP is offensive and foolish for referring to his haircut as the Jugend cut, even if others call it that. I just find that offensive and wrong. End of Story.

Then maybe you should get out of the house more often (other than your monthly haircut).

4 mins of you blathering was overkill, try it again in a minute or less.

Many people idolize Hitler. He idolized himself. These people are in awe of huge ideas and visions related to power and supposed utopia. You can research the new Berlin that Hitler wanted to have built. It would have collapsed on itself and it was nothing but sketchwork, but people who can vision the outcome will come to think of the man as a visionary - even though there's nothing unique about these visions (having the tallest structures in the word, etc) Hitler's fame makes these egotastical ideas seem unique.

They do not know and will never have what it takes to be a true man. You need to be able to put others ahead, take no credit or reward for good that you do, and make sure all your interactions never affect another soul negatively in any way. Most people can't even handle putting their shopping cart away because "someone else will do it", but buy themselves a hybrid only to brag about helping the whole world.

Hitler had no honour. He created his own conceptions of morals and ethics to suit his ways since humanity did not work for him. He was influenced highly by others and their "science" or ideologies. He was able to be talked into killing all the Jews by some Muslim racists coupled by some extremism written by Martin Luther that other religions shouldn't exist and there's only one way to make sure of that.
No matter how many books they read about Hitler, people like the OP (and many other Bay area people) will always be called ignorant because their priorities in being a human being are never fixed. Only made worse by the idolitry and emulation of Hitler.

Although it may be uncouth to say +1, I can't help but say that your articulation here is spot-on and worthy of repeating.

Please be gentle. I know how vicious SF folk can be.

It looks like someone dragged a spiral ring notebook through a pile of pubic hair.

I've never been quoted or +1nd on this forum before. Maybe I need to rant on the Internet more often.

The reason he chose to call it the Jugend haircut probably stems from frequent use of the term on SuFu, where it's relatively ubiquitous (I had one, but I'm growing it out.) As for how such a cut could go from Hitler Jugend to fashionistas, Nom De Guerre's Hitler Jugend inspired SS09 collection gave a lot of inspiration towards those looking at taking their side-swept bangs in a new direction. Pic from said collection, which features a version of the cut.

I guess there will be only one collection per year to match the theme and that will not be fall/winter?

You know, one thing making this all kind of creepy is that you're all calling it Hitler Jugend. And not, you know, Hitler Youth. One of those two sounds a lot more like the speaker might not believe the holocaust happened, you know?

It doesn't matter what "everyone else" calls it, doesn't mean the OP should (and then expect to not get flack for it).

It's pretty easy actually. Everyone here calls sandwiches "sammiches" and says axe instead of ask. I don't. And it was pretty darn easy not to.

Worst part of this whole thread is it looks less like a "Hitler Youth" hairdo and more like a "emo'short back and sides" hairdo.
