San Antonio Restaurant Rec

A couple I know who live outside of San Antonio, Tx., are going through a very rough time, and I would like to buy them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant in town that they might not otherwise visit. Any recommendations? Many thanks.

My best meal in SA was at Rudy's bbq, but given your reason for needing the rec, that's a pretty bad place. It's in the back of a gas station. That's the Rudy's style and they all look like that. There is a famous Mexican place but I can't think of the name, I'll get back with you.

When I go to SA I like to go to Fogo de Chao.
