Thinkpads are great workhorse notebooks. I don't even remember anymore how many of them I've had over the years and none has ever let me down.

Typing on a T400 right now. It's an animal. I've put this thing through hell and it keeps coming back for more.

^Agreed. Would definitely have considered one if I didn't already have a good laptop. Anyone looking for a reliable laptop at a reasonable price should buy one of these.

Shipping included in price? Is warranty international?

Picked up one of these bad boys today from Badsha. Great deal. Highly recommended.

Price drops on the T61 and T60 (>5%)

Not used this seller but adding a recommendation for the Thinkpads being bulletproof. My bro went through three Dells in the time I had my T42. Still using it as a media center.

Does the 410s have Optimus?
Have been needing a workhorse laptop to use at the office when I'm overseas (can't get used to those weird Japanese keyboards!) and snagged one of these. Excellent communication from the seller and very friendly.

Will update when I've received the goods, but so far, a smooth transaction! Thanks badsha.

If you are, or ever plan on running Linux, AVOID OPTIMUS AT AL COSTS

Having had some correspondence with the seller (who was very responsive), he said he thought it did not - but if you Google the model number, you can find pages saying that model does. FYI.

Manufacturers are very sneak with the specs on this. Many (Dell included I found out the hard way) will list the Nvidia mobile chip as discreet when in actuality it is Optimus.

I have been a loyal Nvidia customer for years b/c of their stellar Linux support and feel I was slapped in the face on this, not just by Nvidia but Dell too.

I no longer will ever buy a Dell or Nvidia, especially when ATI's Linux drivers have finally made it up to par.
