Straight Leg or Taper with Jeans?

Thread Starter
I mainly wear boots on a day to day basis (Red Wing GT or desert boots) so I'm wondering if I should go towards straight leg or tapered leg jeans. Right now, I'm wearing Nudie RRDS but I'm wanting to get something else soon. I'm going back and forth between APC Rescues or New Standards.

Thanks

I think straight leg looks better with boots.

why would you ever wear tapered with boots? I think that would look retarded.

Really depends on your waist + leg size If you're skinny, go w/a straight leg. If you're athletic (i.e. high leg to waist ratio), go w/a taper If you're fat... go w/something like 501s or Rescues. I wear a ~32-33" waist and have about 26" thighs + size 11 feet... I alternate between size 33 APC NS tapered down to a 8" cuff, and size 34 APC NC tapered down to a 7" cuff. Both look good w/boots (NS cuffed over, NC stacked on top of opening)

I think it could look good if your boots aren't really chunky.
