Porn can seriously effect relationships for any number of reasons.

1) If you're watching porn all the time and masturbating, your sex drive is going to be non-existent, and you're probably not going to find any woman very desirable if you're beating it multiple times per day.

2) Porn can be mentally addictive. It allows you to fulfill any fantasy you like at the touch of a mouse. That can be a hard habit to break, especially as it becomes routine.

3) It acclimates you to expect that any and every time you're involved in a sexual experience, it's going to be some nasty fantasy you have, or it's going to be exactly what you want at all times. This can lead to your actual, physical sexual encounters becoming less satisfying over time. This of course encourages the porn/masturbation which just goes around in a circle.
