Does porn ruin your sex life?

Too much of it could subconsciously increase your dissatisfaction with your sex life if you're in a committed relationship. You run the risk of bedroom stagnation in such relationships even without outside influences. The fantasy experience most porn grants access can accentuate the monotony that characterizes the sex lives of long-time partners.

Personally, my sex life has been more fulfilling when the porn viewing is limited or even eliminated (usually only happens at the beginning of the relationship when things are still fresh).

Also, haven't you voiced a concern with your girlfriend's appearance/weight before? That's going to play a role in how frisky you're feeling.

Lord who knows. As for the porn, "ruins" is probably too strong a word, but it does take something away from it. But I'm not gonna stop watching it so I try not to worry about it.

This is what I was trying to say in my first post. Some girls ARE prudes, but there are also the ones who do the standard stuff, which is boring, tame shit by porn standards.

I try to use porn to better my sex life, but then again I'm not a total prude and know that imagination and reality are different.

It should be noted that I really can't speak to the actual question, as I don't have all that much of a sex life at the moment.
