How to Achieve this Hairstyle?! - Page 3

I'd like to go on record and say that I am also in the natural oils/not shampooing every day camp. That's why I put "if its that day" in my post. I listed a few steps, but it's definitely not as complicated as it looks.

I AM going to try the beanie idea though lol. Sounds interesting, lazy and inefficient...which is exactly how I feel most mornings lol

for grease, try any pomade (eg american crew, brylcreem, etc) or even coconut oil I've heard it good. for the hat, I brush my hair (back in my case), then rub some stuff above into it with my hands, then pull the cap over tight, pulling the hair in the direction I want it to dry flat in, and let it dry which takes probably 10-20 minutes at most. it makes my otherwise quite thick puffy and wavy hair and makes it quite straight, and pretty flat.

you will essentially have to flat iron it every day. sadly, it will likely look like you flat iron every day, and still won't look quite like that. grow yours out a little more, buy some leave in conditioner (bumble and bumble hair mask is good), use it like you would a gel. embrace the curl.

chemical treatments will likely look like shit right after they're done. and definitely like shit when they're growing out. For reference, i have hair very similar to yours and have tried all of the above.
