what's the difference between large loop terry and the normal terry. Also i'm really liking that polo this season.

Thanks for the info - I was curious about that. Assuming you've handled (sorry for inquiring if not), what is the weight of it versus the F/W'10 Terry Looped hoodies? I am picturing/imagining this a thinnish cotton exterior (similar to those SS'09 thin cotton hoodies) with these large(er) terry loops lining the interior? Significantly lighter in actual weight versus F/W? Hopefully so..

I really want to see shorts as well. Probably not until Mid March--> April, though. Polo's I bet come earlier than other stuff. All the sweats/recycled fleece etc coming out first apparently. I wonder if they'll dare offer the sweatpants in red..

remember to keep it to ss'11 itt. hopefully there are some nice light-weight chinos though. the ventile field was an awesome pant last season even considering the pretty humorous side-equipped v@gina pockets

I called in and they said they have no more mediums! What is this nonsense?

Anyways, nowiremember -- PICTURES PLEASE!

I really genuinely want to see how this actually looks/fits! In addition, blackbird may get them soon according their blog. I called in and the lady really had no idea what was going on so I am afraid to place an order.... I guess I'm just going to wait until I see it online.....

The Large Loop Terry hoodies that are hitting shops now are basically the same weight as the Fall version and fit about the same as well. There are definitely some cool pants coming. There are the usual twill chinos, but there is a new darker brown colour this season. There is a front cargo pant, a linen herringbone anti-fit pant that looks great and a few other interesting options. I don't think the sweat pant got done in red, but i'm not 100% on that.

The '10/'11 hoodies have a stretchier and softer exterior as well a thicker, bigger and softer terry loops on the interior - kind of feels and looks a knit, actually. I liked their previous hoodies better.

functional design error.

The new hoodies based on these reports are identical to the F/W'10, except "larger loops" (lol, thanks!) and different color options (e.g. heather olive and also red/salmon/washed red). How exciting. Being for spring/summer I'm surprised they didn't opt for a lighter version. Call me crazy. Saves me 180 bucks there at least, though, being I have two from f/w'10. Also funny how the retail price is lower for the same identical (sans color) hoodies (f/w10 vs. s/s10).

For me, moving forward with w+h, it's all about the pants and shorts. I hope this year's are also Japan made. Any stockist know? The sweatshirt/sueded fleece/tiger terry stuff is just played out. Obviously selling, but played out. There is nothing truly special about them. Also they must be pretty much in bed with Ideal to be using those zippers again (that feel as if they're fashioned out of paperclips, or a metal even more slight). I wish they would also get their zippers attaching and moving up, correctly, before attempting the sophisticated "two way zip". The "ideal" zipper on my $50 Dockers are of way higher quality than the ones w+h uses. Bizarre imo.

So bring on the chinos and shorts and screw this endless "loop" of sweatshirt and hoodie reiterations of year's passed. I know the new(ish) ones are the new material (knit-like) -- but identical to F/W aside from a new color or two? Smh. Throw us a frickin' bone.

and i like it, but lol @ the dungaree shirt retailing for approximately $250. At least that stock should stick around for a while (i.e. until sale time).

But thank you, guy, for posting the details on the pants. THAT is what there is to be excited about. They too I'm certain will be bank busters, but hey. With respect to quality, these pants and shorts should last a while - or at least until you get too fat to wear them.

I feel you on the zipper issue. The one on my S/S '10 terry fleece hoodie gets stuck all the damn time. I've just given up on ever zipping it up. I actually wanted to get a black one this season but passed for that reason.

Dude, none of their hoodies besides some that were meant to be worn like jackets (nanook or cowichans) have ever been warm or thick. I have a 'heavy weight' fleece from f/w 09 and its warmth is dubious at best. I haven't handled any of their polartec hoodies but I imagine they would also be warm but they're hard to come by and I'm not paying over $100 for anything made with polartec fabrics.

Their best hoodies were the ones made with the teardrop riri zippers and beyond that their coated terry cloth was one of my favorite fabrics and I wish they would bring those back.

As far as sweatpants, I could care less, people paying 150 for a pair of sweatpants as opposed to snagging some of their utility pants or corded cloth this season at the same price on sale are crazy. I'll just grab a pair of alternative apparels for $30 to fill that 'gap.'
