well I'm feeling a hell of a lot better now. Also just found out a dozen of my old frat buddies are having a party like 5 minutes from my house, so I think I'm going to head over there for a few hours. This is the first year in a decade I haven't spent new years at my buddies cottage. I love the place, so far in the middle of no where there is no cell signal.

You're correct. People that take limos to avoid driving drunk 80 miles round trip are much worse than guys complaining about these people to their online pals so they can justify why they aren't doing anything on new years eve.

Believe it or not, some people really don't give a shit that it's a "new year". Oh wow our semi-arbitrary calendaring system just flipped over to a new page. Well hot damn, let's celebrate!!!!!

Yes (to having stayed in). NYE is amateur's night.

Me and my youngest daughter were to go to the Winter Classic on NYD, but because of the rain, I gave the tickets to my oldest daughter and her husband to be.

Newbie Here, Just joined and saw this thread. Lovin' it. I stayed in. I want to start 2011 rested. Did a lot of partying in 2010 and really doubted that NYE could top it. Sleep is good food. B p.s. radallr - funny. Yeah I guess I am! BigT - I agree.

Mostly stayed home -- crossed the street to a neighbour's (low-key: about 4 couples) for a couple of hours.

Too many different sparkling wines made for hella hangover...
