What Makes for a Good Fighter? - Page 5

post #61 of 66
I saw a street fight happen right in front of me. The ass that knocked the other ass down took out a gun and murdered him with several gunshots while the victim was still trying to get off the gound. I am not a rough and tumble person that would normally be around this sort of thing, but it is a true story. It was not my first experience watching the brutality man heaps upon this sometimes sad earth, but the first and hopefully last where I would actually stand and watch someone die because of what was probably the most foolish of reasons. (Probably bad money and drugs.)

So I submit this to all you Gentlemen - don't fight.

If you do have to fight, learn how and remember your life depends on it.

Er, I submit to you that is not typical (if indeed it is true.) That sounds like the one guy was going to murder the other dude anyway. The vast majority of streetfights do not culminate in murder.

oops sorry for the buzzkill...
````````````````````````````````
It happened in downtown San Francisco. I have no idea whether "the one guy was going to murder the other dude anyway".
Of course sport fighting and 'heavy contact' sports are different from what can happen out on the streets. Though they can require the same elements for victory (skill, spirit, techniques, often times brawn, etc.).
O.k., start buzzing again.
