This 911 turbo cabriolet must be hard to drive without exceeding the limits...

That car is MADE to exceed the limits. Anyways, the video is crap. The angle shots could've lasted 20 seconds and the rest should've been the car in motion.

Nothing like taking advantage of a video by showing still images.

500HP can barely put down a respectable 1/4 mile time in most production cars these days. You need that much power just to get these bloated pigs moving. Add on all the traction/stability controls you're not going anywhere too fast. You'll go fast top-end, but you'll get there in a very safe and stable manner.

I don't know about that man, 500 horsies is and will be a respectable amount of power - I was in a friend's SL63 a couple weeks ago and that thing just decimates time and space from a roll, and sounds like a Messerschmidt in the process. Truly a new-age muscle car.

I'm being facetious obviously; what I'm saying is 500HP in a car that weighs 4000lbs with ETC is not too much HP. Put 500HP in a tubbed-out frame with wrinke-walls and THAT is power. Any goofus with a new Porsche, Ferrari, et al. should be able to handle the cars no problem as they come.

I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it

Having said all that, the Mrs nixed me getting the S65..

500 HP might be a bit excessive...for a motorbike.

ORLY?

500 HP is way too much for almost everyone. 300 is still too much. 100-150 is about right.

I'd only take 100hp in a 1000cc Ducati!

Has anyone of you actually driven a car with an actual 500 (+) HP?

I drove a(tuner) mustang with 550 hp, its stupidly fast. Rides like rails around corners too.

I would say 475 is about right for a street car.

Me , 550 hp EV0 VIII on racetracks, the day after my butt was all black due to the punches it gives me on the seats. 0 to 100 km/h in like 3 seconds , short gears.
