You can also try some "fun" cufflinks. Won't be too flashy but definitely noticed by the right people.

I agree with the wedding tie. Since no one is aware of the tradition anymore, you can be the only one at the wedding wearing one. It looks nice and you're paying respect to an ancient tradition at the same time. I have this six-fold glen plaid wedding tie, in 3.5" and 3".
