w.o.e., said this on FB, but i like the look a lot. Is it a bit snug? Sure, but thats what you want. I've generally moved away from that look (with a gentle shove from GroupThink) but I think thats because I'm pushing 35. Your much younger than I am, and have a few more years to keep that going. Make sure you keep your gym membership though! 27 was the age for me when I realized if I didn't work hard to keep my shape, I wouldn't be able to.
I also think photography has a lot to do with it. Those shots are fantastic, and the response would be much different if you posted the typical SF men's room shot of the pic.
I like the mishmash of colors, they are all basically earth tones, and it looks cool with your complexion.
Basically this is an example of the SF (in particular WAYWT) GroupThink is at its worst. So many people on WAYWT have a problem with something that wouldn't look good on them. This looks GREAT on you, but wouldn't on a lot of guys (due to their age/shape/nature of work/lifestyle or ll of those. I think Mike touched on it when he said that he wouldn't be able to pull it off, and that it may be too small, but it looks good. More objectivity would help benefit that thread greatly. Now, not saying we need a huge bukake fest, but, a little bukake never hurt anyone...except this one girl I knew in college, but thats for another thread.
On the Pantas, I really do like what Ed is doing, and I don't see the use of "jobber" fabric as a criticism. Not every jobber piece will look good as anything, and Ed has the eye to pick fabrics, not widely available, that DO look good as the garments he creates. Whether it be for ties, pants, his own NSM sportcoats, or whatever else he has in the works. I'm not a fan of the button flies, but not for fit reasons, but for convenience. Between the double button tabs, extended hook and button, then button fly, it takes a while to button and unbutton, and as a teacher, I get like 2 minutes between classes if I need to pee and the buttoning can take quite a bit of that! the last pair I bought from him were the wool/cashmere plaid, and they were zip fly, with side tabs, that make that much easier. I also love the fit, which isn't readily available at his price range here in the US. And this is coming from someone spoiled by a GREAT and relatively affordable bespoke tailor.
