A cotton pocket square to wipe the girl's sweat (or other fluids) could be handy

This was their original purpose, after all.

Jose, if you're using a pocket square for fornication at a law school party, you sure picked one hell of a school!

Several people have already expressed the view that Jose needs to develop a little more security and sense of personal style and look a little less for validation from this forum. Beyond that, the "look how self-assured and clever I am, as demonstrated by how contemptously and insultingly I can pile onto the Jose-slap-fest" starts to look petty and infantile, imho.

What the man said ! keep it on Jose!

Should we create a "white knight" subforum for the few of you with pure intentions and samaritan souls?

Well I do think a forum, like this or about any other subject, is made to gather people that hold knowledge about the subject to discuss it and also to help less or wrong experienced ones to learn and acquire that kind of knowledge.

This, a forum about style, is "subjective and relative" and not "objective and absolute" like a forum about Nokia Series 60 C++ development for example, and thus has no absolute definitions about style, whether or not some groups minorities or not could think or accept about the subject.

So I think different views about style, different than yours or mine are acceptable and welcome.

I see no reason to attack or post derisory comments about jose, you, me or any other member.

In fact the only reason I could see is the will to be a jerk.

A cloak and plumed helmet like that is one of those sartorial choices that I admire when others pull it off, but when I consider wearing such an ensemble to work I worry about looking overdressed.

Dude - are you serious?! Go back two posts and read the statement you so emphatically agreed with. It manages to stack up "contemptous", "petty" and "infantile" in one sentence. How's that for "derisory"?

Now - let's go back to the real purpose of this useless thread: getting this thread to 100 posts...

Not to mention the "no white after Labor Day" rule...

On the other hand, I like and am fond of the humour most members display, just keep ourselves in mutual respect as the gentlemen we all want to be or become
