Allen Edmonds shoes at $150? - Page 3

I got a pair of AE 5th Aves in Jan. from an online store for ~$265 but I had to sign up for their emails. That was the cheapest I found at the time. AE outlets will ship you seconds and the price for 5ths was $199 at that time. I don't know if that included shipping and they can be returned if you don't accept the defect and pay for return shipping. There is a guy selling any AE "first quality" for $235-$245 no tax inc. shipping here on the SF at http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=229174, but I understand there is some wait for some styles. eBay has some good deals but watch for seconds, they should be marked with a W or M on the sole. Sometimes you see two small holes on the sole and I was told that this is the mark of a retailer such as Norstrom. Know your fit by last before you buy on line or off of eBay as they all fit differently.

Wow, Allen Edmunds fifths!? This whole time I've been looking for something cheaper than seconds, like thirds, but I had no idea AE sold fifths! Someone alert Vox!

If you were serious, 5ths is short for the 5th Avenues style. If you were being funny, ha ha I get it!

My local Nordstrom Rack. Needless to say, all Strands (Walnut) were gone - keep an eye out for any sellers from Seattle if one person happened to buy them up. I would have picked one up, but recently grabbed a pair in black from AllAboutShoes. I'd grab the Italian slipons but I already have a pair of Tod's in similar style. The Bel Air has made an appearance in both Black and Walnut for $179.95. I'd proxy, but I am too busy to make any attempt.

Yep, Nordstrom Rack is the place my book. Picked up a pair of park avenues for $150. They were factory seconds and seemed to be made apart from each other but they look just fine as a pair.
