Very difficult to buy a perfume for someone else - you can't be sure she'll like it. http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...0076&LinkType= http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produc...0087&LinkType=

I don't know if you can get it at Macys but I have yet to find a woman who doesn't love Flowerbomb.

+1 to Willpower's comment. It's almost impossible to recommend unless you know what sorts of scents she generally likes. If you want timeless, classy, and subtle, I'd go with something like Dior Diorissimo. It's basically a lily in a bottle. Light, fresh, crisp, and in a beautifully designed bottle/package that never goes out of style. Others would be some of the recent Guerlain Aqua Allegoria line. They are in beautiful "bee" bottles, with prices in the $50-70 range, and are quite "general consumption" scents. I'd avoid "classics" like Shalimar, Chanel no, 5 or 19, YSL Opium or Rive Gauche, or others like this, until you know what she likes. These have famous names, but very distinct smells that often don't work on many. Last thing you want is to spend $100 on a fragrance to have her turn up her nose and say, "ewww! smells like my grandma!"
