I've done this before, but when they stretch out and I try to belt them they bunch up creating an awkward mess.

This was a gift from my boss. I kept it for a few months before I just sold it. It is pretty solid. Made in USA. You can't beat the quality. If I needed a sterling silver money clip I would buy a...

I just picked this up and I am pretty pleased. Just what I expected. I am pleased with the Bark. However, I wish it was a little darker. A great deal for $35. Comparable to other belts in the...

I don't get the squatting thing; I have NEVER seen anyone come to SF and say that intensive squatting has improved how they look or how their clothes fit. (Plenty of people need a bit of upper body work, and that fixes a lot of problems -- it is a different issue.)
What is the deal with the megasquatting -- do people sense that at any minute they will have the need to kick through a barn door? Or rabbit-kick an attacking hyena?
OP, I am not picking on you specifically, it is really about the small army of people who pass through here with the same issue.

I did it for football in college. Though to their credit squats help increase test levels and as crazy as it sounds will help your upper body grow as well. It helps give a more even look, not the lightbulb frame.
But to each their own. I was just hoping somebody has the same problem and found a fix

it's negligible and probably a case of mistaking correlation for causation (ie those dedicated enough to squat are also likely to work hard on upper body, while those who don't squat are more likely to be lazy and not put effort into the rest of their workout)
that said, squatting can be fun - people like the feeling of power that comes from moving several hundred pounds, maybe a lot of you guys don't, but lots of people do.

Fluery & OP^^ For what it's worth, I began incorporating squats into my workout six months ago or so. Previously I'd really only focused in the gym on upper- stuff because I'd been doing a lot of running and figured that was decent enough work on my legs (recreational gymming, mind you. 3-4 days a week, for fitness and personal satisfaction rather than extreme competition). Anyways, started squatting as essentially the"big change" in my workout, and I've seen pretty notable differences to my upper-body composition in just that time. Now, my legs haven't suddenly exploded in size, but they have beefed up a bit since starting. I'd recommend some '55 LVC's perhaps to the OP.
