I got a bunch of the cookbooks I requested on Amazon Wishlist, which was great - I researched on SF to find some good ones and I'm very pleased. To my incredible surprise, my wife got me an Xbox 360 Kinect - something I never, ever would have bought on my own but in a boyish way really wanted. I sustained a shoulder injury playing volleyball on Christmas night. More importantly, my little girl got more toys and books and stuff than she could ever use. Including a sweet 6-piece pink drum set.

Not much... Happily one of the guys who annoys everyone and says I don't need anything.

Got some knick knacks and and stuff, some cash. Tiffany's got most of my $, spent more than expected but for some reason it seems ok when it goes to others.

Chef I worked for knew I was coming to his two spots in Vegas, comped me on two extravagant meals with a lot of wine. I paid for service only.

I don't think I really got anything for christmas besides that. My girl and I don't exchange gifts on holidays because we tend to be generous with each other throughout the year.

a toilet bag filled with Keihls and Aesop products and some Chanel Egoist which i can leave at work for when i cycle in. very thoughtful as i am always carting toiletries around in my backpack.

Also a tombow ball point. never been one for non-disposable pens as i lose them so often but it does feel quite nice in the hand.

bought my wife a George Nelson Sunburst clock, an overnight bag and lots of sleepwear.

Why'd you have to ruin it? I thought you had taken up glass blowing as well.
