#1 Polo Ralph Lauren brown bird's-eye suit, made in Italy by Corneliani, from a few years ago but flawless condition. Tag reads 50L (EUR). 3 button (rolls to 2.5), double vent. Ticket pocket. Trousers have split curtain waistband, double reverse pleats and suspender buttons.

Tag reads 50R (EUR). 3 button (rolls to 2.5), double vent. Trousers have single reverse pleats and suspender buttons. At some point these trousers were taken in at the waist. I had them let out again to their original waist size and discovered that the trouser seat was mended at some point to camouflage a tiny hole in the seat. Close-up reveals waist tailoring history just under the hem (see last picture). It's only obvious in close-up and in any case, a gentleman does not remove his suit jacket... Measurements:

Sleeve (shoulder seam to cuff): 25"

#5 Lovely rust tweed sportcoat (rust and brown herringbone with subtle flecks of different colours) by Antwerp-based Scapa. Fits slim! Leather buttons on the outside, MOP on the inside. Beautiful jacket for autumn and winter! Last two pics are most colour accurate. Size tag reads 50 (EUR). Measurements:
