Was not that bad. Not much over a c-note, delivered from Zachy's in NYC.

his son is 2008 and beyond. I'm hoping to try one from 2008 soon, though judging by the half-dozen of bottles of didier I've had by now, 5-6 years of age seems to be when things open up. Even the 2007 is too young.

Zachy's has some good bottles in stock, I have my eye on the '05 Buisson Renard.

1992 Kirchmayr, Solist Riesling

05 Ten? Hmm, I have a few of those in the cellar. Think I need to sample one this next week

Definitely drank very well and improved over the hour we drank it so it certainly would be fine to hold for a few more years too.

Very elegant wine, nicely balanced between acidity, alcohol and fruit. Tasted mostly black fruit, very smooth and not overly tannic. Not as 'minerally' as a Burgundian PN, but very nice nevertheless. We had an '05 Southing that night too, and while it was very good too, it didn't seem to have the grace of the Ten.
