I felt like it ended right at the exact spot. Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
With Adam Scott's character walking into the audition, and you never know if he got the part or not, because it's not important. The important part is that he didn't give up and settle on his shitty job and moving back in with his parents. Even if he didn't get the part, the central conflict of the show has been resolved.

The setting is so perfect and atmospheric that it's easy to forget it's on a sound stage in front of an audience. It feels like a real place and if it was, I would certainly go there. It's easy to see how this show was such a hit for so long and why people were so sad to see it go.

+1, I'm enjoying it now even more than I did during my childhood, since I can understand the jokes now heh.

Also, I just noticed that the whole series of Black Books is on there. Recommended if you like acerbic, misanthropic British humor. And I'm sure someone already mentioned Spaced, but I will second all the good things said about it.

Black Books ruled, highly recommended. Also streaming Black Adder, another great Brit show. Way better than all the other garbage with Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry

That's a pretty good point. I just couldn't help but feeling like they had planned for more seasons and then got the axe after the season had wrapped.

Yeah I don't doubt that they had more story to tell, but I do think that they ended it the way they wanted.

Elite Squad 2 is available now. The first movie is not available on streaming. Two of the best movies I have ever seen.

Party Down was taken off of instant today because of the Starz deal going away. I had 3 episodes left. frown.gif

That blows! I'm sure you could find it online in Asia somewhere, but that's always risky.

Jon Benjamin has a van. Maybe the weirdest show to ever appear in prime time.

Stitches, this made me think of you

Thanks to the resident SFgeeks I've watched Firefly and Sherlock. Now I'm hooked on Battlestar Gallactica. 11 straight episodes from 4pm Saturday to 4am Sunday. Man...
