I've been on Gmail for years now. I only have a Hotmail acount because there is still some random mail that shows up there, but I have it forwarded to Gmail. I don't even think I remember the Hotmail password anymore.

Yeah. Our university transfered all of our emails to Windows Live.

To be honest, I don't even use email for personal use anymore (especially with the advent of Facebook). I have a gmail account, but only reason I use is when I need to sign up for another online service (ebay, forums, etc...)

School and work emails are the only email accounts I use.

Oh, and I remember back when Gmail was invite only. I was one of the very first users (happened to get it through Blogger, which was also owned by Google). People would geek out about having 1 GB of space, which was a huge deal initially.

Gmail invites used to be in such high demand!

Yes, hotmail for facebook and just about everything else not important as it gets spammed heavily. Gmail for important stuff.

I have both and use them both. I use hotmail for all the signups for forums and various other spam producing sites.
