Does anyone have any idea on where to get the Barker Black loafers on sale? I am not a big fan of their laceups, but really like the loafers. Thanks.

Hit and miss. I've seen the loafers marked down at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta from time to time, but you'd probably have better luck monitoring B&S and even posting in WTB.

^Yup. I got a pair of Archdales from though B&S for a third of retail and I guess they are "subs" but I didn't see anything wrong with them. In fact, compared to the pair I saw at Neiman Marcus, I felt mine looked nicer.

Call the main number, ask for the factory shop. Then ask for the manager. Arm yourself with the model name, colour and your UK size. They will be slight seconds, but the price is great and whatever deemed them as seconds will most likely be indistinguishable from firsts.

Be warned, you will get them in a generic white box sans bags.

I've never called in, but I remember they were 150-180 pounds or so when purchased at the shop (including VAT).

No need to call, email the factory store and request a listing of what's available in your size. Nita will email you back within a day or two, unless they are closed for the holiday.

They were about $150 at Neiman Marcus last call over the summer. Cheapest I've seen them. Maybe wait till January and see if they get them again?

You bet. Just be nice to Nita, she's a swell gal. She may tell you she's not supposed to do this so try to be gracious.
