Nails always lead to something else in most homes. Have you found a flaw in "big green"?

No, but then I haven't inspected with a magnifying glass or anything. I've learned to not probe too deeply into these things.

Looks very nice. I would leave the monogram as is, but I think that's a personal preference thing. Heck, I don't like monograms 99% of the time, but I like this one - very tastefully embossed, and on the inside to boot.

BTW Foo - your post awhile back about the RE glasses was much appreciated. It made a great case that pushed me to RE over American Optical and Ray-Ban, and I couldn't be happier with them.

I have always found It is best to enjoy. Wear it and love it. Just don't love it.biggrin.gif

I'm leaning toward keeping it as is.

You mean the Randolph Engineering sunglasses? I don't remember writing about any sunglasses made by a company called Hamilton. I really love my Randolph's. Between them and my Cutler & Gross acetate frames, I'm a happy man.

Agreed. I haven't stuffed it with things yet. After the long wait, I'm reluctant to weather it--but it will be in action by Monday morning for sure.

Yes, that's right... I'm writing a post elsewhere about a Hamilton watch and my brain got cross-polluted. I did stop by a surplus store and look at some military-issue Randolphs and am still happy with the "civvie" version I got. After these, almost every other pair of sunglasses I've ever had pales in comparison.

Definitely interested in how the wallet holds up over time, btw. Set yourself a reminder in your calendar to update in six months. wink.gif

Don't bother trying convince me not to add one. Decided already.

Outside, bottom right hand corner?

Inside, bottom right hand corner?

Gold, no gold?

The tenacity of Foo is a densely focused beam of neutrinos that will pass through planets to get to his intended target.

Congrats, Foo.

Looks good, but the procedure and fuss about this simple item reminds me of a something recently seen in a certain blog:

Explaining how you don't need to be special reminds you of pretending you need to be special?
