in a monkstrap?

I'm considering my options in anticipation of my meeting with Mr. Gaziano.

I think that is a great looking shoe. It's a little too formal for, most, of my needs. But, again, nice shoe!

G&G's catalog shows a RTW version, called Carlyle (see p. 7).

The answer for me is, yes I would buy that shoe and may.

Now the modifier in a monk strap.....hmmmm. If a single strap like the Oundle, I think yes. However this is the exact shoe I have pictured for my order or as an alternative a sleek full brogue in this leather/color.

I'm not sure. One of my favorite features of this design is the perforations and shapes surrounding the laces.
Would I take the medallion, the color and the last in a monkstrap, yes.

That damned Gaziano -- so many great designs, so little money!!

Personally, I find that model to be lacking a bit, in grace. It's a haughty looking shoe, to me. But, every foot is different. Every eye, is different. This may be just the shoe that you're looking for.

Without a shadow of a doubt: beautiful shoes! Paul

I don't know about full brogue monkstrap shoes, but ones with a medallion could look nice.

Beautiful shoes, but not in a monkstrap. I detest monkstraps. I don't think they look good no matter who you are.
