Hi, I'm looking to pick up a blazer for casual wear out to the bars with jeans, and wanted to ask a few questions: 1. It seems there are several versions of navy. "True navy" being the darkest. I personally only like the darker shades. Are there names or certain shades of navy I should be looking for? 2. Buttons - the brass/gold/silver buttons always look too preppy for me - I particularly hate the look with khakis. If I were to buy a blazer with these what type of buttons could I replace them with and where would I order them from? (I'm thinking something dark brown or black metallic) 3. Length - should a casual blazer run shorter than a suit jacket? 4. Pockets - I'm not a big fan of a visible pocket on the chest. Am I looking to avoid "patch pockets"? Any suggestions for inexpensive blazers that I can wear out and not worry about destroying at the bars would be appreciated. Thanks!
