What chest size are you, and what size is the jacket? It looks a little short on you compared to how I think it should fit. Also, did it come in any other colours?

Unfortunately I don't have a Zara here to try out for myself... but a friend of mine is taking a trip soon, and I'll give her a shopping list

I'm a 44 and that's a XXL jacket. I'm pretty sure that's how it's intended to fit, I have a similar jacket from H&M and it's the same length. I believe H&M has a longer M65 and Zara has different ones that are longer but not that one.

Cool. I have a small (36) cord blazer from Zara. Fits nice and snug, but I think a medium M65 might be best, especially if I do a sweater under it.

That's probably true. As I recall, the XL in both the cord blazer and the M65 were quite slim fit on me, and I wanted the opportunity to wear something underneath the M65, thus the XXL.

Any thoughts on this Zara M65? I haven't tried it on yet - my gf is in another city and just picked it up for me. It's part of the new collection (in Canada anyway).

Looks good to me, although I'm not really fond of zipper collars.

yeah im not fond of zipper collars too, nonetheless how much did it cost you?

i have the same exact one as drizz. i think the way he is wearing it is a little unflattering. it looks like its maybe a touch too big and he flattened out the collar -- it actually looks like its cut to standup if you ask me. the jacket also has epaulets. its a medium length jacket, hits at the hip (longer than a short cafe racer type jacket, but shorter than trad m-65's) the jacket has a nice zip in, quilted lining, which i believe can be worn all by itself as a light jacket.

i'm a little perturbed seeing that olive one above from the new collection. i on the other hand, like zipper collars, but maybe i gotta a better deal bc the olive one doesn't look like it has a lining.

I'm not sure how much the jacket was since my gf bought it for me, and wouldn't say I dig the zip collar (I still haven't seen it yet because I'm still on winter vacation), and supposedly it is lined, but just a thin canvas or something. I hope it fits me ok..

FWIW I saw some dirt cheap m65-esq coats @ target, and TJmaxx has plenty of "parts" brand m65s for less than $20.

Hey, I don't know where you're at but I just bought a Olive colored M65 jacket from H&M. It was only 79 dollars and really well worth it. I got it at the H&M in Arcadia, California.

^ hmm, I may have to check that out this weekend. Do you know how many more were left and in which colors?
There was black, olive, and coffee colored. Actually I bought the coffee colored one. It is really nice. They had about five or six of each color left.

Hey, isn't it $69.90? That's the price at the Beverly Hills H&M. There was about 12 khaki colored ones, 6 olive ones, and 2 black ones left today. I'm going to the ARcadia store tomorrow so I'll be sure to check it out.

Wow, if it's 69.60 at the Beverly HIlls H&M then it's cheaper than the ARcadia store by 7 dollars. The one at ARcadia with tax was around 85 dollars. It is such a great jacket, I'm already getting compliments. It makes me want to buy the olive colored or black colored one. I mean at least I ain't paying 200 or 300 bucks for just one jacket.
