The canon 28-135 US IS is a great lens and you have it listed for a great price. If I didn't have one already, I'd buy it...

Could I get the 50mm shipped to Canada?

Phreak didn't mention it, but the 50 MM, is the very desirable metal body "Nifty 50". I paid a lot more than he is selling it for and everything is in great shape.

Is that the 1.4 or the 1.8? The "Nifty 50" is the plastic 1.8 that's quite cheaply built. Even the 1.4 is a plastic body. The only metal body Canon 50mm's are the $1000 L series lenses. If it is the 50mm f1.4, I will take it.

i think he means the older 50 with the metal mount. these are more desirable than the newer plastic ones. great deal at 70!

What is the shutter count on the XSi?

Hey phreak. I was just turned on to the styleforum by a good friend (razl). I picked up a Canon 30d and I'm thinking your 28-135 would be a nice well-rounded lens to pair with it if it's still available. thanks.

This is correct.

It is the older 50 with the metal mount. Considered much better than the plastic mount.

They are more desirable and are getting rare. Canon purists love them. At $70, it is a great deal.I bought it for $100, and I thought I got a great deal ( I also never used it ).
