It is part of my heritage and how people define me. I'd rather go French peasant, but I might be mocked.

for me i'll always be reminded by this video series anytime I think of english style. really spot-on as far as trad is concerned.

The British/English Style that most appeals to me (aside from my wife) are the items that originate from country sportswear, hunting and riding clothing. So, the tweeds, shetland sweaters, cords, etc. Those define British style to me. Those were also the main influences in US preppy clothing which is probably the reason I like it.
