Does Anyone Else Find it Silly to Treat Denim Like Delicate Cashmere? - Page 2

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a huge fan of all the creases, honeycombs, whiskering and other side effects of not washing one's raw denim for 9 months. Don't get me wrong, I love my Nudies, LVCs, APCs, RRLs, etc. But, mostly because of the quality and the fit. I even like 'em just fine evenly faded. I just don't really feel bad tossing them in the old Kenmore when they start to smell.

(at Parker) I believe its called hygiene, that’s the line I won’t cross for fashion.

I don’t baby any of my clothes but the more classic pieces I would like to last me as long as possible. Especially with jeans, when I find a cut that suits me. I don’t pamper my clothing but I believe the inverse is also true, I don’t purposely treat my clothes like shit so I look like the fashionably homeless.
