^ That first shirt looks really nice.

I'm hoping one place will stock this shirt up in black or brown: http://whitemountaineering.com/item/2011aw/wr101.html# smile.gif

This is my personal favourite, I hope someone stocks it. It looks like the same material as that first shirt?

Im thinking of getting two cardigans and a crewneck, all in the spear pattern.

Handled a fair bit of the ss11 collection and its not so bad, but it could be way better, for the price.

is this wool or leather or something else entirely?

This is easily my favorite line in the world that's not a repro based line. I can't imagine what other brands it's going to inspire to go for this look. So many of the pieces are SO close to being classic vintage but JUST the right things are tweaked to give them a fresh look.

Some amazing patterns, I reckon I'll pick up two or three pairs if they come to the UK.

I'm not sure if you're being facetious or if you really have something specific in mind. If you do, would you mind posting it up? picture ideal, description could be a good reminder too

Edit: I feel like I've done americana goth-light before though and it worked out well. suede buttero combat boots, waxed helmut lang black denim, mj cashmere knit with extended sleeves that went to my knuckles, and a coated linen barbour jacket. so it had the skinny jeans + boots + extra long sleeves thing, and the barbour added something kind of cool to it instead of looking out of place

(Better late than never, eh.) No, I wasn't facetious although it was probably a bit of an overgeneralization. My point was that brands respectively associated with those two aesthetics (for lack of a better word) can and do work toegether without the result looking like a franken-waywt. When done right, I find those fit incredibly more inspiring. The Harnden/EG is an obvious example of brands that look pretty similar while usually being associated with two completely different niches and I find their association refreshing. Similarity is not essential though, CCP +Junya works too, AnnD+visvim etc etc... I feel like this is a pretty trite argument and I'm stating the obvious, the bottom line is that I enjoy the repurposing of brands from completely different aesthetic into one big but still cohesive melting pot, I enjoy the new perspective it offfers infinitely more than any perfect niche fit (dumb term). /rambling

God my heart dropped today when I walked into Frances May and saw a pile of WM gear on their counter, apparently they're just putting it into their systems. They have socks, the fair isle sweater in red, and are getting some jackets in in a week or so. Everything I handled was nice, and looked amazing in person. Incredibly soft and thick wool, and colors that really popped. Goddamnit.

I've looked through their entire catalogue for FW 11, and I think these are my favorite 3 pieces:

500
500
500

Anyone know if stockists picked any of these pieces up?
