^^ Looking good sir!

In my experience, I initially went TTS which turned out to be just too baggy and ill fitting.
Sizing down slightly (especially if you are in between sizes) worked much better for me.

Hey Guys,

I wanted to extend an offer on North Sea Clothing through Independence. We are bringing in The Marine from North Sea Clothing to Independence in the coming weeks and wanted to offer a discounted pre-sale price to styleforum. We will be discounting the The Marine sweater by 20% to any members interested in picking the sweater up a few weeks in advanced. The total for the sweater after the 20% off will be $183.00 plus shipping, which will vary on destination and will ship approximately 3 weeks after you make the purcahse.

The Marine is pictured below...

If you are interested, please contact us by phone at 312.675.2105 or email at info@independence-chicago.com.

Thanks!

Is the Marine the only model you're bringing in?

We've a solid selection of North Sea.

I've owned the Submariner sweater for just about a year now, and it's a great piece. In regards to sizing up, down, etc, although i've never tried a 36 (what i'd consider my true size) I liked the relaxed fit of the 38. The shoulder seams sit a bit low, but I like to think it's part of the charm of a sweater like this.

going tts would certainly work, but it would lose it's appeal.

Hi all. Received my first NSC item recently. With regards to sizing of these jumpers, I have just under a 40 inch chest, 32 inch waist. I normally like my clothes to feel fitted and opted for an Expedition in a 40 expecting it to be quite snug.
The jumper fits me more like a regular and measures 20" p2p and a little loose around the torso. I'm still very pleased with the Expedition and it certainly is very well made.
I'm yet to wash it for the first time so may expect some slight shrinkage. When I order my next NSC, the shrinkage will determine whether I go for a 38 or 40.

Do you ship with UPS to Canada too? And will you be getting more sizes in the Submariner? Thanks!

Does the Marine fit similar? I am a J Crew 36R in their suits; the small for SNS herning fisherman fits well in the body. Would I be a 36 or 38 for the Marine?

From my experience you would be a 36, definitely not a 38. The bigger issue is the length. I believe the sweater is 26" long. It was insanely long one but I am not very talk.

Im 6 foot tall, 26" strikes me as similar to other lengths; isn't the SNS Fisherman this year about 25.5"? At least that is what end clothing listed their small as
