Hopefully it will be better than Public Enemies. The whole Accardo-Giancana-CIA story was fascinating.

Same here.
Moore making an unflattering film about the Mob would kill two birds with one Uzi.

I recently rewatched The Keep, Mann's first film. Despite having Ian McKellen, Gabriel Byrne, and Lance Hendriksen, it was easily one of the worst movies I've seen. It's a movie about Nazis in Transylvania and the score is just constant cheesy 80's synthesizers. Horrendous.

Ha, I remember that movie, I saw it like 25 years ago, I was a kid, and I enjoyed it.

My standards were pretty low back then.

This, you beat me to it. Moore following a Chicago gangster with a video camera Roger & Me style would be funny, but brief.

Mann has done some fun things, I'd be willing to give this movie a shot.

Johnny Roselli, and Santo Trafficante Jr. were also in on it. At the Fountainbleu hotel, Robert Maheu met with Santo, Johnny , and Sam, offering them $100,000 to take care of Castro. Trafficante agreed; Castro is still alive; money was never recovered.
